I was really excited to come home to Port Orange and try out this new dental practice since I’ve been away at school in another state. Dr. Joe Smillie was super nice and easygoing. He replaced my crown and did a wonderful job on a tooth that’s been bothering me for years! He prepped the tooth for the crown and the camera they used to create a 3D image reconstruction was really cool. I got to see what it looked like after he was done scanning. I’ve been to a bunch of dentist offices and this place is by far my favorite! His team used a few new things in this procedure that made the process so much easier and more enjoyable. The office is also really beautiful and clean. I look forward to future appointments!

Gorgeous dental office with the utmost cleanliness. I decided to drop by as I was walking through the Pavilion. It is located right next to Red Robins. Friendly staff! I was greeted at the door.

Dr. Smillie was extremely attentive, caring, and professional. I came in for a regular check-up and just my luck I was able to do same day treatment! So definitely convenient. They really do work with your schedule. It was a comfortable and PAINLESS experience. Yes, I said it.... PAINLESS! The office is updated with new technology, and more specifically they have this new way of giving painless injections. I honestly did not feel it at all.

Very friendly and attentive service. I didn’t have to wait at all unlike my old dentist office where I had an appointment but it still took them over 30 min before they see me. I was so relieved to learn I didn’t have to have a mold impression made for Invisalign, but instead Dr Smillie uses fancy technology to take digital impressions that don’t hurt or make me gag! It was quick and painless. The girl at the counter was friendly as well. The office and Dr were very cleanly and everything looks all new. I’ll definitely be back!

I had my teeth cleaned this afternoon, and enjoyed it! Sounds odd to say because I was very Dentist-averse until I tried Smillie dental. They also accept many different insurance plans. Try Dr. Smillie and you will never want to see any other Dentist, plus you’ll have another awesome friend. I just moved to Florida and needed to find a dentist. I found Dr Smillie’s office when going to another doctor. When I arrived Myrna at front desk greets you with a friendly smile. She contacted my insurance company to review my policy and explained to me in detail what they covered and how much I would have to pay. Myrna gave me excellent customer service. Dental hygienist Amera cleaned my teeth and she was caring, gentle and did an excellent job. Beth and Dr Smille filled a tooth and made a new crown in 2 hours. Dr Smille and Beth made me feel comfortable during the procedures and impressed me with their professional and friendliness to me. I recommend Dr Smille for any dental work you may need. My rating is 5 + Stars for him and his staff.

Professional! Explained what they were doing which made me feel very comfortable!
My first visit and had to pull 2 teeth, requested a certain numbing medicine and treatment and no problem-ready with supplies and technology to meet my needs! Do u know what it means to hear “we got both those teeth out now we just finish up”!
My anxiety also disappeared when getting home i could still do minimal duties without issues since i own and run a horse stable, work never stops here (with physical help from my neighbor to minimize up and down motion) but i could still give orders
I had several bad experiences before coming here so trusting did not come easy but i feel so good now after my visit , i am so glad i found Smilie Dental!
